I am 19 weeks pregnant today and I have a doctor's visit in 4 days. I have had 6 visits already. Every visit I've been to, they just ask: if I have questions and listen to the heartbeat with a doppler. My pregnancy journals and books have places to record height of fundus and belly measurements but he has never ever measured my belly at any visit nor does he ever feel where my uterus is anymore (only did this first 2 visits). I am planning on asking why not during this next visit but don't want to sound stupid. Who does and doesn't get measured at there checkups??? Is this normal? Or am I misguided on how prenatal visits should go. How do they know if my baby is growing properly if they never ever measure me? Please help. I do plan to talk to my doctor but I don't want to sound like a moron so tell me what you think please. Thanks
