Labor!

i dropped way before my due date and i was 6 days over due , my water broke tho so thats how i new i was in labor

You will know. I didn't seem to drop at all. I was 5 days early and had no idea I would be. On the Saturday evening I was at a dinner-dance with no indications of impending birth and everyone commenting that I had ages left as I hadn't even dropped yet. Sunday lunchtime I started getting contractions, and they feel like nothing else so you will know them. Baby was born early hours of Monday morning.

i understand your confusion when i was pregnant with my soon i went the hosp with pain and their like your 2-3cm dilated your going to have your baby then sent me home and i was like what...?
but its just "early labour" if your belly has dropped and the heads engaged then their positive signs!
you might start to feel braxton hicks which arent supposed to hurt they way i learnt the difference
was real contractions pull your stomach tight!
and hurt :)
early signs of labour you could feel are vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach tighting, losing your mucus plug is good sign its coming as well!!
i just kept ringin my widwifes for their help if you get confused or stuck just ring them :)

trust me love u will no when u go into labour with contractions. mine started at 2.30 am and I couldnt sleep at all i tried 4 times going back to bed but nope my daughter was going to be born that day.. the day earlier I had my overdue antenal appointment..I was 2 cm dilated..by the afternoon of the day my contractions started I knew I was in labour but the midwife told me to stay home as long as i could But i told her i was coming up now... when i got there they told me i was 5 to 6 cm dilated at about 5.30pm they had to break my water at 7pm and my gorgeous baby girl Aleela was born at 9.50pm... So you will know when you are in labour even if ur water doesnt break..

I was 2cm dilated a few weeks before I had my daughter. I had false labor on the 15th then my mucus plug came out the 16th and my water broke on the 18th. She was born on the 20th! My false labor contractions were stronger then my actual labor contractions.
Every pregnancy is different so it is hard to say what will happen in your case. If you feel your belly tightening and getting really hard that would be a contraction.

i dont think it means that ur goin to have ur baby b4 ur due date....i mean i dropped when i had just hit 6 months... and i started diolating and was stuck at 2 cm till the day i was induced.... but everyones labor is different....and no my son wasnt earlyish.. lol they took him 5 days b4 my due date but thats because they didnt wanna wait it out to see wat happened!

it might. we noticed my stomach dropped 6 days before she was born. she was born at 36 weeks and 5 days i beleive. only reason we knew i was in labor was because i had a normal dr appt that day. so be careful because u migh not kno when u are in labor.

but normal signs are contractions, water breaking(for some), the bloody show. which really is just some bleeding i guess. the mucus plug falling out
