I freeze grapes and put them in the mesh feeding bags and my son just chewed on that until it was mush. The cold brought down the discomfort of the inflammation and numbed it, while it was also tasty. It depends on the age of your LO when you should try this strategy.

i got a clean baby sock and put ice in it and just let him suck and chew on it and it seemed to help with his sore gums and he also realy enjoyed doing it for some reason lol

M baby HATES the baby orajel. I tasted it once and its disgusting. And it didnt really help a whole lot either. Use baby-tylenol or baby-motrin. And i hear theres these teething tablets that are supposed to be really good but i havnt tried them yet. Teething rings are pretty good, my baby loves them. Oh and one thing i do 4 my baby when its really bad....i buy pedialyte pops(baby freezies) and break off little tiny peices one at a time and put them in my babys mouth and rub them over his gums. That seems to help him more than anything else
