Birth stories & new babies!

Its kind of a long story but its kind of unique and worth the read.

My daughter (2nd child) was due between Dec 27th (based on ultra-sound) and Jan 3rd (based on what the doc said and b.c of when my last period was) born. At 5:30AM I woke up wit some crampin but I thought it was jus the normal cramping I had been getting or braxton hicks and that it wasn't a big deal but by 7:30AM it hadn't stopped so I texted Kathy (the fathers step-mom) b.c she is a nurse and told her I had cramping and that it had been goin on for 2hrs and if ok or if I should go to the hosp. She asked me to time how far apart they were an told me how to do it so I did and told her they were 8min apart and she asked if my belly was gettin hard while I had them and I said no so she said its prob jus false labor and that she was gonna b in town at 11am so she and her husband would come in eairler to check on me so I said ok and laied on the couch to rest thinkin it was no big deal but by 8:30AM they were still going on and getting worse and they were uncomfortable. So I called the fathers step-mom and told her an she said they would head over in a little to take me to the doc. She thought its not that big a deal we've got time her water hasn't broke and she's not due til between Dec 27th and Jan 3rd that we had time. So when she said that I got up and unlocked the door and laid on the couch. but a few min later they got way worse and a little more often and I told her an said I thought my water broke but I wasn't too sure so she said they were on their way an for me to call 911 so I did. That was about 9:00AM the woman on the phone timed my contractions an they were 2min apart and she asked me to put my hand between my legs an see if I felt somin I told her I didn't think I could do it but tried anyway and said I didnt feel anything and than the paramedics came in and checked me and did wat they needed and than got me into the ambluance and were getting ready to go to the hosp since my water had broke before we left the paramedic asked if I felt the need to push and I said no than a sec later I said yeah I do so the he checked an I was crownin so he had the other EMT (female) come to the bac and the Kathy followed an asked for gloves and they both got in the back with me and the premedica gave Kathy gloves and let her deliver my daughter @10:30am in the back of the ambiance. It only took one push, than we headed to the hosp.

My daughter Cassie Elizabeth Hembree was 5lbs 11oz 19 3/4 inches long

My Due date was 12-09-10 we waited 8 years but on Dec-3rd-2010 came our little Trenten Marshall All 9 pounds 6 oz's of adorableness ♥

My daughter Nalini was due Jan. 6th, but decided to come on Christmas day. I was supposed to help bury my grandfather on christmas eve, but went into labor instead. She was 6lbs 3oz and the only baby born on christmas at the hospital we were at so she got extra spoiled.

Great Stories Ladies!

I have 2 children. My son is now 6. With both I had to be induced due to HB with both. My son was really bad and I had to be bedridden the entire time. True Labor started at around 6 Pm and he was born at 12:32am.
My daughter was due on 12-28-10 but was born on 12-14-10, I had GD and strated to get HB, so they had to induce as well but I was not bedridden with her, Thank God. It was so nice to experance this birth being able to walk around. My labor started with her around 9 am and she was born at 1:03 pm. The nurse was great that day, very outgoing lady. My husband and friends had me laughing the entire time, and the nurse thought I was crazy, No drugs at all smiling and having a good time. lol My friends ended up leaving but missed the birth by 15 minutes.

i had my first (daughter) december the 11th 2008 i was in labour for 3 hrs and pushed 4 hour and half,she was 6lb 10 no problems during labour she is now a healthy 2 and half yr old i had my second (son) 30 december 2010 i was in labour for 2 hrs pushed for ten mins. he had the cord wrapped around his neck they had to help him to breathe start of with it was very hard not being able to hold ur baby straight they wre born, he was 6lb 5 he is now a very healthy 5 and half mth old

my daughter was due new years eve of 2010 but she arrived on 20th of dec.. after 12 hoours of labour.. she had the umbilical cord around her neck so the labour was longer than what it would have been!!! she almost died my poor angel.. but thank god she is all great now!!! well and healthy!!! :)

my daughter Natalie was due November 29 2010. i had no signs of going to labor besides being 1cm dialated. my doc planned for a induction on Dec 8. I went into the hospital the night of Dec 7 and went into labor right there ! I was only in labor for 8 hours (this being my first child. i was told labor was quick for me ! lol ] She came Dec 8th at 11:35am. i had to get an episiotomy because the cord was around her neck and it was short so the doctors had to cut her cord before they pulled her out. She came out a healthy 7lbs 8oz. (the doctors only told me she'd only be 6lbs. ]

I might have the record for interesting birth plans - had planned C-section due to breech, then he turned one week before that. Went into labor close to planned C-section time, and after about 60 hours (~36 in harder labor) had emergency C due to baby heartbeat issues during contractions.

Was an interesting experience but though it sounds pretty bad I had a healthy baby boy (8lb 6oz, 21.5") and was moving around pretty well 2 days later. Couldnt really plan for anything since the baby kept moving so much we didnt know ahead of time what was coming, but it all worked out great so I had a good experience!

my little boy, Theo was due 29th of december but without any contractions or warning my waters broke on the 11th of december, i left for the hosptal straight away and was planning a water birth, but he didnt want to wait and was born 3 hours after my waters breaking. i had no pain relief, and my little boy was born weighing 5 pounds 12 with lots of strawberry blonde hair :)

My little esther was ready to come out at seven months, so I was put on bed rest and meds for the remainder of my pregnancy. She was born on new years eve, healthy and perfect and a full head of hair, after thirty hours of labor and about twenty min of pushing.

My baby Girl Samarah was due on the 15th December she arrived on the 22nd, but then the midwife tells me they may have got my dates wrong and thinks she was like 2 weeks overdue making her due on the 8th, had gas as pain relief but that didnt do much so gave up on it had my waters broken at 8pm and pushed for 3 hours 20 mins she arrived at 1120pm good thing about the 3 hours of pushing was that she stretched me good and proper so got no Stitches.

My Baby Boy Trenten was Due Dec9th Came Dec 3rd 9pd 6 oz 19 1/2 5 days of sleepless FALSE Labor pains (not so false) 24 hours of natural labor 2 1/2 of pushing i went for the epidural and poof he came. and hes the best thing thats ever happend to me i love him soo much:)

my first son was due on the 23 of july 2003 and came on the 24th of july which is also my birthday. It was a very fast labour and delivery all up it was just over 2hrs. my second son was born on the 23rd of sept 2009 and my labour was longer at 4hrs and my daughter was born on the 12th of dec 2010 and labour was about 3 hours! I delivered all my nat and all drug free!

My son Caysen Lee Baker was due on Christmas Eve, but was born on 12-19-10. My water broke at 1:30 that morning and I was admitted at 2:30am. Was only 2 cm dilated when I was admitted. Then didnt get to 3 cm until 3 that afternoon. Then at 3 everything started moving. I was 3 cm at 3pm and delivered him at 5:07pm vaginally. He is my second son and my first on went kinda fast so I guess Caysen was just being stubborn.

i had my little girl on december 14th 2010 although she was due on 24th december! my labour took about 2 and half hours and pushed for 5 minutes. she weighed 3.2 kgs and 51cms tall.It was all natural.

i had my first on 18/12/10 when she was due on 12/12/10.... was only 1.5hrs in labour and she weighed 7lb 14oz..... had no pain relief either all natural birth

my baby was due 32 dec and came on 18 both of my kids i did it without pain relief did it all my myself my first i was in labour 4 hours and ma second 2 hours so been quick

i had my 2nd little girl on the 18th december but was due 19th february, after being in labour on the 17th for nearly 24 hours and drugs to stop labour reacting to me, when the contractions started again on the 18th they couldnt stop them, Was decided at 14.00 would have emergency c-section and my daughter was born at 15.18 a dinky 3lb 7 she spent 35 long days in hospital but she is now 8 weeks and 2 days and is now 5lb 4oz x

I was due December 15th 2010. My little boy Elian was born on December 3rd. He was 7lbs. He is due for his 2 month doctors visit. He is doing well and nursing well too. I also have a 2 year old who was born Dec 4th. Great Planning! :)

my 4th baby, Issak was born on his due date 21st Dec 2010 at 10.33 pm, weighing 8 lbs 15ozs, i was only in labour 1hr 30minutes only just got to the hospital on time ,we arrived 10.30 pm and Issak was born 10.33pm lol. Im still shocked how quick it all happened :) and it was the first time i had no drugs !!

Shelby Marie was born December 22nd @ 4:32 am after 31 minutes of labor. If I had waited until my water broke to head to the hospital she would have been born in the truck. Shelby weighed 6 lbs. 9 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long

Our Kenli Reece was die 12-11-10 and flipped and flopped in the weeks leading up to her due date. One week she was head down the next she was breech, then back to head down and on the day of my last appt she was laying horizontally across my belly. So I had TWO hours to mentally prepare myself for my first surgery EVER!!! lol she was very healthy- 7 lbs and 9 oz and 19.5 inches long!!!! Happy, healthy and steadily growing!!!!

My 3rd baby girl was due December 31st but I had a scheduled c-section December 13th. We named her Leah Paige, 7 lbs 8 ozs, 20 inches long, 6:04 PM. She is healthy and beautiful. My oldest is 12 and my 2nd is 2 and a 1/2. They love Leah and we are so happy our family is complete. Congrats to all of you new moms and Happy 2011.

congrats to all of you!!! I had my second baby on Dec 20th. was due on the 15th, was scheduled for an induction on the 22nd but e surprised us. labour was only 4 hours and 15 min pushing later our healthy 9 pound 4.5 oz lil boy tyler was born at 10:14 PM.... much different than the 7 lb 13 hour labour i had with my daughter.... all natural this time...

My son was born the 28th after 14 hours of labor. He was 8lbs. 6oz and 20 in. I was due on christmas day but he decided to wait a little longer!

My little boy was due the 27th Dec and was born the 13th, at 11.30pm after an hour of labour. I had a midwife, and delivered at the hospital. Everything was over before I had time to think about wether or not it was going good or bad! Nicholas weighed in at 7lbs 11oz. My first little boy, Alexander, was due 15th Oct (2008), and was born 30th Sept, weighing in at 6lbs 12oz. Labour was 4 hours. Alex was born in Australia and Nick was born in NZ.

My Daughter, Willow, was born on the 27th by c-section. Drs didn't want me to try to VBAC unless they could get my records from my son's birth & the other hosp. wouldn't give the records until the last minute. I can still brag that I had a New Year's Eve due date though! She was 8 lbs 6 oz and 20 inches long.

Had my baby boy Xmas eve. the day i was due. Was induced as he was breech then turned head down and i have a history of that happening with my babies so as soon as his head was down they had to start me off. Was induced with syntocinyn at around 12pm and delivered my baby at 6.04pm weighing 6lb 11oz. I have 5 girls so it was a great xmas present to finally have a boy and for his siters to finally have a brother. We are so happy.

My son Isai was born December 3rd @ 10:25PM... and i swear that doctors lie about the second ones comming quicker cause unlike my labor with my daughter (23 hours) i was in Labor 4 25hours. But he came out a healthy 6lbs 11onz 19 1/2 inches.

my little girl, Ashleigh Fleta, was born December 13th, 2010 via planned c-section, she was due December 22nd. She was born at 7:56am, 6lbs 14oz, and 19in long.
My daughter was in breech position which caused for the planned c-section, everything went very smoothly. It's now a week after, and I'm feeling great and Im almost back to normal. She is also doing wonderfully. As well as being in the breech position, she also had her feet up by her head. Because of her positioning, her little hips aren't quite developed yet, so she has to wear a pavlik harness for 6 weeks to correct her hip dysplsia. So other than that, we are happy and healthy.
She is such a wonderful baby, God truely blessed us with her. She is so content and happy.

I hope everyone else's babies are happy and healthy.

I had my 3rd on Dec 6th 2010 and wasnt due till Christmas Day, He was 7lbs 1oz and 20.5 inches long. Happy he came when he did, dr said he could of been alot bigger. I was induced as i have had problems with my last pregnancy during labour so they wanted to be extra careful and have everything be controlled by the drs. I went in at 3pm and he was born at 10:15pm after 20 minutes of pushing. He is a great baby, sleeps well (2-3 hours) and eat well (breastfeeding) Congrats to all the mothers

My son James was due Dec 23 2010 but my water broke on Dec 8th 2010 and I had a c section. He was 7lbs 13.5 oz 18 1/2 in. He is my third child and im so in love. He eats and sleeps well so far he had Jaundice but its much better now.

Congrats everyone on your beautiful babies! 6 girls and 2 boys so far :) How are you all feeling?

Bowynn has been pretty easy, just the last week she's started fussy a lot at night. Hubby and I are a little on the sleep deprived side... and man is the coffee good in the morning - but other than that we're doing well. My little girl is gaining weight so well she's surprising the midwives!

I had my bby at 38 weeks. emmie was born on 3rd dec at 3;44pm. after 1hr 44mins labour. She was born so fast my midwife didnt get round the bed 2 catch in time. My bby landed on the floor she was ok my huby picked her up straight away. lil emmies weighed 6lbs was 46cms long and if feeding well :) x

my daughter was born yesterday! Went in on her due date (december 18th) to start trying to induce...worked a lil but not enough so they sent us home. That night I went into full blown labor and went back to have her! She was born on December 19th at 10:57am. She was HUGE! I was shocked lol 9 lbs 5 oz! 20 1/2 inches long!
Congrats to all the other new mommies! Are you as tired as I am? ;D

My son was born yesterday, at 7:59 am! 20 inches and 7 lbs, 8 ounces. :) My water had broken at 10:30 a.m. the day before, so labor had been active for 22 hours. Not so fun. I had pushed for 4 hours, starting at about 4:00 a.m.

my Lainey was born the 16th, i was supposed to be induced but 3 days before she decided to go breech. so i had a c section which i really did not want but shes here and perfect. 6lbs 14oz. at 7:24 am. we just came home today and she has a head FULL of black hair :)

I had my second baby girl on 12/5/10 and was due on 12/11/10. Raelynn Mariah weighed in at 7lbs 14oz 20 inches born on 12/5/10@1:24pm. I was in labor for 3hrs and delivered in an hour.

I was due one 12-09-10. I had my lil girl on 12-1-10 at 2:10am. i was in labor for about 5 hours and pushed for an hour. she weighed 7lbs 10 3/4 oz. she was 20 inches long. she was my first and i couldn't be happier
