Does anybody agree with me that people look down on you weather it be because you have tattoos or your hair is an vibrant colour or your child has a moehawk or you have percings.

Does having blood red hair mean that i can't be a good mum??
Does have a piece of metal in my tongue mean that??
Does having a tattoo not just with my sons name in it mean i can't be a good mum??
Because I don't want to wear plain jeans and a t-shirt and sneakers, because I wear bright skirts and dresses... ??

i hear you on that!!! i have my eyebrow pierced and tattoos. i heard an old lady in the grocery store one time "ew look at that tattoo and she has a baby?!?!" i felt like turning around and saying "do you want to take a closer look at this tattoo?" it's my daughter's handprints and her name in butterfly wings.

you just have to brush it off because there will always be people who have their close-minded opinions and i know the truth, that i am a good mom. thats all that matters

I get the same. When I was pregnant, I had green hair. About to go blue. I have gauged ears, one visible tattoo (more in planning stages), and I like to play with my makeup colors. Also, I tend to wear a lot of black. I'm not in any "scene" like goth, punk, or emo, I just wear what I like, which happens to be edgy, yet classy. Most people just can't see around it, though.

Being a good mom is mored than appearances. Look at all the beautiful celebs who only have their kids with them for photo ops otherwise they are with a nanny. No one has the right to judge your abilities as a mom from the way you look.
