Looking for a nice way to say we are having an eco-friendly baby shower

I have found lots of great ideas on how to have an eco-friendly baby shower, and I am really excited. But I am wondering how to put it cute and nice that we would appreciate used gifts, in no wrapping paper or blankets or something creative that can be reused. I am a huge fan of craigslist and garage sales, and dont want to put more baby stuff into our world when there is plenty of good stuff to be reused. And a big commercialized baby shower with tons of new things is just not my idea of a good use of resources.

Any ideas on how to put this on an invitation in a way to get others excited???

This is an awesome idea! If I ever get another baby shower I'll have to remember it... or maybe I'll get to use it when my sister's finally start having kids. :) I love the 3Rs theme!

BTW... I was only given one baby shower when my first was born, and I'm still using all the bags we got from that... 4 years later. :)

I love the idea! We have never been clothes shopping for either of our kids because we get so many hand-me-downs from cousins. Could you make the theme a "Regifting Shower?" Or make it look like a school-type theme with the 3 Rs: reduce, reuse and recycle? Good luck. I hope you find a good way to get the message out.
