Pregnancy weight gain

Hello Ladies! This is my first time posting here.
I was just wondering general consensus. I am currently about 29 weeks pregnant with my second son. With my first, I only gained 22 pounds total. At this point, I have gained 10 pounds, having lost one sometime in the past 4 weeks. My midwife said that this is not a concern, due to my low weight gain with the first, and the baby looks/sounds like he is doing perfectly fine. I eat all of the time, I just eat really healthy.
Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this or has any thoughts on the matter.

Thanks Ladies!  This really makes me feel better to hear "it's ok" from other moms.  I just seem to be all belly.  Baby is growing great, great movement and all, so I guess I'm just not going to sweat it.  :)

My weight gain was completely different with both my pregnancies - the first one, I gained about 45Lbs and the second I gained 22. I ate the same way, was just as active and kept in the same shape - my body just carried both of my daughters differently. I think that every pregnancy is different - and so is every woman's body. Eat well, keep active and the weight gain shouldn't be an issue (whether it's "too" much or "too little)

My personal opinion is that, as long as you are eating healthy food and getting decent exercise, your body will gain exactly what it needs to in order to grow a healthy baby!

I didn't have an experience quite like yours, but when I got pregnant with my daughter, I was underweight. I barely gained two pounds in the first trimester, and the doctors and nutrition experts were freaking out that I wasn't gaining any weight! They kept telling me to eat a lot of milkshakes and other high-fat, low-nutrition foods, but I knew that I was eating healthy food, and a lot of it, and that my body would gain when it was ready. And it did! Total of 45 pounds. All out front. :-/ lol.

Anyway, as long as the baby keeps doing well, it sounds like you're doing exactly the right thing!
