My baby had too. I used babies magic tea to deal with acid reflux in my baby. It's safe and healthy tea for newborns.

My son has it he just got diagnosed with it in February. They put him on Zantac but it wasnt doing anything so they put him on Nexium and its great he hasnt had any problems with his reflux since he started it. I think it getting more common. My nephew has it also he is 2 yrs. He got diagnosed with it at.. about 8 months or so..

My daugther was diagnosed with it at 2 months old and was put on Axcid (like Zantac). Unfortunately it really kicked into high gear around 4 months and the Axcid stopped working. She cried all day and into the late night from the reflux. It usually started about an hour after her bottle and eventually she started to refuse to drink her bottles. The doctor put her on Prevacid but it took 6 weeks before the medicine finally started working. Actually, right when Hurricane Ike hit us her medicine finally started to work - what a difference!!! She is still on Axcid and Prevacid but we are going to try weaning her in a couple of weeks. After we got it under control she did so much better and we only need to increase her dosage once. I think acid reflux is actually more common than previously thought. It was usually misdiagnosed as colic in newborns. From what our pediatric gastro said they usually outgrow the problem after a year or two depending on the severity. Hope this helps and good luck with it all!!!

My daughter was diagnosed with that at her 4mo check up she had to go on to Zantac for awhile, but now she is much better and doesn't need the medication. I think it is somewhat common, but I am not sure.
