When are you going to wean your baby off the bottle completely?

My 10 month old now has 2 bottles of milk a day, was 3, but cut the lunch one out, just went cold turkey and he hasn't missed it. I plan on having no bottles by the time he hits 1, the older two did it, so hoping this one agrees. My CHN said as long as he is getting plenty of dairy other ways, then bottles are a big deal. So just dosing him up on plenty of yoghurt, cows milk in breakfast cereal, cheese etc.

I give my daughter water from a cup after every solid meal-she has a couple of sips each time.

She has 3 bottles of milk a day-altogether 16oz a day-not much l know but she is on the petite side.

My son is 10 months old, he has had a sippy cup for his water since he was about 6 months old.  I use the AVENT bottles, and Ive just changed from the regular type of teats to the "sippy cup teats" (if that makes sense)  He has a bottle with a regular teat just before bed, but thats it... I want to aim for a cup between 1 & 1.5 (thats the plan, anyway lol)

My son takes 3 bottles a day anywhere from 18-22 ounces. My doc just said yesterday at our 9mo. ck-up that over the next couple months we should start to reduce to 16-20 ounces and around one year switch to whole milk with meals in a  cup. I am trying to get him used to the sippy cup but he is taking to it slowly. I think I will start to wean slowly as he takes more to the cup between now and 1 yr.

I am actually having trouble even getting mine to drink her bottle anymore she use to drink 4 bottles a day at the same times everyday now all of a sudden she only wants to drink 1 maybe 2 bottles a day and thats only in morning and night. after her formula is gone i am going to try her with whole milk b/c doctors say they have to drink at least 16 onces a day is this a good idea?

I've started giving her water in a sippy cup during mealtime to get her used to using the sippy cup. once she's a year old i want to wean her off the bottle to the sippy cup, and from formula to milk. at the moment she has 4 bottles a day.

I am going to start giving Jake a sippy cup now and try to wean him that way. I will try to have him on a cup at least by 1.5. Sounds alright by me! Good luck! Getting them to give up their security "blankets" are tough.

My daughter has 3 bottles a day. I am not going to attempt until she is 1 year old. I know other babies that stop bottles at 8 months and others that still have the bottle at 3 years old. I am going to try right after her 1st birthday.
