I was just wondering how long everyone tried to get pregnant before they did? I only tried for a month with my second & I honestly did not think I would get pregnant as quick as I did! I'm glad I did I was just shocked! I have PCOS so I don't ovulate monthly like most women do! Or was it a suprise?

We tried for 4 years and after 3 miscarriages were blessed with Emma whilst on Clomid. We spoke to our Doctor about our second when Emma was six months figuring with our history and my age it would take a while... the very next week we were pregnant with Sophie. Still don't remember how that happened :)

I had been on Depo for 9 years, I got my last shot in April 2006. We didn't use any other sort of protection. It took until January 2007 for my cycle to come back and in July of 2007 found out we were pregnant w/ Brenden!

It only took me a month with my first. My old Gyno told me it would take me 4-5 months because I had been on the pill for 10 years. I was then told by my new Gyno that when going off the pill you are more fertile, so it doesn't take as long.

It only took us three weeks for  both the first and second.  Needless to say we were not prepared for number 1 as we were told it would be between 4 and 6 months after going off the pill!!  But number 2 was planned to be close to first baby.

I had been off the pill for three years, but we were being careful. I went to the dorctor for a regular check up. Then I got pregnant. I was scared, but excited. I told everyone I came in contact with that I was pregnant. Then I miscarried at 8 weeks. I went to the doctor a month or two later and he said that I wasn't ovulating and until I did, I wouldn't get pregnant again. I was pregnant within the month. I had a tubal pregnancy. We didn't tell anyone that we were pregnant this time. We went to the 6 week ultrasound, and the next thing I know they are rushing me to the hospital to have surgery! I had to have my left tube removed when I was young because of a cyst. Somehow the egg had traveled through my uteris and make its way into the little stump of a tube I had left. That God it was there, because if it was in my right tube, I would have had to have that removed and not been able to conceive naturally. I went to the doctor for my follow up, and they said that I would get pregnant after my first period cam back. I was pregnant in less than a month again. Now we have a beautiful baby boy, Dylan. I had my first period in two and a half years in Sept. Then I went ot the doctor for my regular check up and I was pregnant again within the month. I told my doctor that going to see them was all it takes for me to get pregnant every time!!! I'm 16 weeks now, and we are keeping our fingers crossed that this one is just as happy & healthy as the first.

Actually my daughter was not planned. My grandma died and with going to the hospital to see her and say goodbye and the funeral and everything I missed a couple of pills. Two months later the doctor tells me I'm pregnant! She may not have been planned but she is the best thing that ever happened. We like to think Grandma sent her:)

We didn't try at all! She was our honeymoon baby and arrived 6 days early, which was exactly 9 months from our wedding. It was our first time 'not being careful' so needless to say, we are very 'careful' now until we're ready for number two. I just really hope we don't have to try very hard as I know through friends and reading these posts that it can be very difficult when you have to try.

with my first daughter, I got pregnant really fast, the same day I lost my virginity.. My second was faster than expected and my third, my husband which was my boyfriend at the time decided to throw the birth control pills away and try for our 3rd and final baby hoping it would be a oy and 2 weeks later I took a pregnancy test and it was positive... I now have 3 blessings.

With our first I went off the pill and three months later I was pregnant and this last time there was no waiting, we decided it was time to try and we got pregnant. We have been very blessed with our two beautiful babies.

I have PCOS too!  I tried for a year before my doctor put me on a fertility drug, then it only took 2 months.  I hope that with the next one it does not take as long.  I also did the home ovulating kits too, that helped a bunch.

It took us only 4 months.  Since I was 40 when we started trying we tracked my ovulation but were still really surprised it didn't take longer.  We were very lucky.  Hope we're that lucky with our second!

It took us 2 years and 3 miscarriages for my second. She is our little miracle. We were told that we miscarried her as well but one week later the ultrasound found her heartbeat. We are truly blessed with our boy Nicholas who was conceived on the pill and almost exactly four years later our little Naomi was born.

We "tried"/"waited" for 11 years before we had our little mircle. We thought that God had said no we could not have children, but it turns out He only said wait. Now we will wait and see if He gives us another.

My son (my first) took about 2 months.  Then we started trying to have a second child when he was about 3 years old.-- 6 years later we finally had our daughter.  We found out  had secondary infertility.  We did IVF/ICSI (invitro fertilization) and the 2nd cycle worked!  I am very proud  of what we accomplished.

With my first it took 9 months. Apparently I didn't have enough body fat and wasn't ovulating. With my second, it took about 3 months, but my cycle still hadn't straightened out after nursing for 13.5 months with my son.

It was funny, I went off the pill and never got my period...which was not unusal for me. It took us about 8-10 months for my daughter who is three. So when I went to the doctor the second time around to get my system jumpstarted and regulated with provera...I found out I obviously didn't need it. I found out I was pregnant! Funny how things work out. We were shocked but very happy!

With our first, we tried 2 1/2 years (very frustrating). We found out I had endometriosis and treated that with surgery, then three months later I got pregnant. With our second it was 10 months, and that seemed fast to me! We adopted our third, so we bypassed all that!

With our first we tried for 5 months. Our 2nd was a surprise! Our boys are 17 months apart.

Oh boy...we tried about 15 months. It seemed like forever because everyone I knew was getting pregnant very quickly and easily. But, he was well worth the wait!!! :)

It took us almost a year with our son ( he's our first and only one so far). I think we weren't really tracking the ovulating too closely lol.
