Hi, Iv'e just had my little girl Kacey 7 days ago by an emergency c~ section. I was 2 weeks overdue and had to go into hospital to be induced, the laybour didn't go quite as expected as I eneded up having to have an emergency C ~ secton. It was a verry scary time and a hard recovery but the hospital staff were fantastic. If you have any questions please ask. x

hi, i'm feeling better with each day as it passes. I've never been in hospital or had an operation before so I found the whole experience a bit traumatic. I had problems with the epidural too. When the took me down for the c~section they gave me too much anesthetic so i ended up being numb from the neck down, which made it hard to breath or talk. I remember Kacey being held at the side of me and her big blue eyes looking straight into mine and I said ' I love you' it's amazing the look they give you it'slike their looking into your soul and you can't hide anything from them. I've never been so scared in all my life. The recovery has been hard as i've sufferd from panic attaks. I think because I wasn't able to give birth to her unaded/naturaly I feel like I am not capable of taking care of her. I get scared when my partener is not around as I feel like I can't provide for Kacey alone, it's upsetting but then I am a worrier. Kacey has done verry well from the begining. She's strong and is a fighter and verry greedy lol I hope in time I will feel more confident. xx thanx for your comments and stories too, I know i'm not the only one to have gone through this type of thing but when your at home you do feel alone x

Hey.. i know how you feel.. i was being induced 3 weeks early because i'm very sick and they needed the baby delievered incase i needed emergency surgery... everything was going great up till i had the epidural and his heart rate went from 180's down to 70 and wouldn't come back up no matter what they tried.. but we have happy healthy babies and thats really all that matters :-)
