My little girl will be a year old by the end of the month and for the life of me i can this girl to take a sippy cup! I continuously give it to her after her snack, lunch and dinner but she literally just throws it away. My other kids were no nearly this stubborn. I'm running on empty w ideas. Any suggestions??

I would just be patient and continue to offer it to her, try different kinds. But on the flip side, I've heard that some kids go from bottle to cup. Have you tried the "take and toss" cups--they don't have a no spill valve so baby gets something out of it without having to work too hard and with the cover it doesn't spill super fast so less work for mom:)--and they are under $5 for 3 cups/covers at Kmart (way cheaper than tupperware). Also, my sister in law is going to school for speech pathology and she said the less time a baby is on a sippy cup the better. Also, my little girl will be one at the end of the month and she takes a sippy cup (the take and toss kind) awesomely, but she won't drink formula from it--I offer her diluted juice and water. I plan on introducing cold whole milk as soon as she's one so she can associate that with a cup. Let me know how it goes and Good Luck!
