weight loss....help!! is this normal??

I always heard that you lose weight when you breastfeed. well i gain 70 lbs with my son. i was 97 and weighed 167 when i delivered. and weighed about 150 when i left the hospital. i breastfeed for 2 months and only lost 10 lbs i stopped about 2 weeks ago and have already lost 7lbs. am i doing something wrong? i know it is good to lose the weight and i am happy it is going away but it is not healthy to lose so much in such a short time. i dont excerise and i eat junk. is this normal??

Try mummy magic weight loss tea. It helped me getting rid of all my pregnancy weight and maintained my metabolism. I am now in shape as was pre-baby.

I was 195lbs when I got pregnant and had my daughter at 205lbs. I had lost 10 plus lbs in the first 6 months and then started to gain weight the drs were measuring me and the baby all the time and baby was growing just fine. I had my daughter 3 weeks early and when I came home a few days after giving birth I was about 180 and now 3 months later i am down to 168lbs. I am just walking with my daughter and eating healthy (yet still eating junk at times) My husband says I look amazing and I honestly feel great. So far my drs are not worried about my weight loss.

well my son was 9.5 lbs and most of what i had was water weight. which is why i lost 17 lbs in the hospital. and i do have a high matabolism i was just wondeing why it took 2 moths to lose 10 but only 2 weeks to lose 7.... it is just werid. and trust me it has made friends with my thighs... not so much my hips... lol

Don't worry, I'm still loosing my baby fat and I only gained a lil weight in my tummy and the rest of the weight went into my butt, so i can't complain...lol.

But, when I was really sick for a week, a few weeks ago. I was in and out of the drs office bc they didn't know what was wrong with me. I still ate the same foods that I use to, but just a lil bit more healthier, and in just a day, I would have losed about 3-4 lbs. Course I was worried at first, but, the drs assured me that it was just my baby weight coming off.

So, Don't worry, you'll loose the weight. Might not get back to your post baby weight, if you do, your lucky. I'm still working on loosing my weight.

Baby weight comes off different than normal weight!! A lot of what you lost at first was water weight!! Now you are actually losing weight weight!! you might just have a high mat. and don't have to work out (lucky you)!! I actually lost 44 lbs between finding out I was preg until my 6 wk post baby checkup (yes i lost weight while preggo) but I also had an almost 9 lbs baby! so you can never really be sure what is normal and what isn't!!! just be glad that the weight hasn't made friends with your thighs and hips!! LOL
