Im building my son a vegetable garden and growing his favourite vegetables just for him to pick and eat whenever he feels the need...pity there aren't any ice cream trees around

Anyone here come up with some amazing and innovative gifts for their kids and or relatives this christmas?

I don't have any great gift ideas, but my daughter made a bunch of great paintings that came out well. She painted on holiday gift wrap with paint. Then she stuck tissue paper squares on top of the paint. She added more paint in some places, as well. The result is a really colorful, textured, multi-layered picture. I glued it onto a larger sheet of paper as a frame. People have been really excited about getting these... She's 2, so it is easy enough for the toddler set.

We did switch to newspaper wrapping paper this year. It was a big hit so far! One newspaper wraps an amazing amount of gifts! Since the paper is going to get ripped off in seconds, I felt good about not spending all the extra money and material for fancy wrapping paper!

Happy holidays to all!!
