Hi, my lo is getting his 6th tooth in two months! He hasnt been sleeping well during the night, wakes about every 2-3 hours for one feed and then the rest i give him his pacifier. He has three good naps during the day, so he is growing well. My problem is after sucha disruption to my sleeping patterns, I just cant seem to fall asleep at night. He goes to bed at 7 and wakes at 11 for his last bottle till 8am. But after his 11pm feed i just cant sleep myself! I am getting less and less sleep! Anyone have any advice on how i can teach my body again how to sleep. He was a big 9 pound baby and used to breastfeed every 2 hrs for his first 5 months, now since we started solids he sleeps much better, but not me yet! Help!?

Have  you try napping when he naps?  This may help you catch up on some sleep so that you are so tired. You may not be able to get to sleep good at night because you are over tired.  For his teething have you tried baby orjel, you can try rubbing it on his gums after his last feeding at 11 hopefully this will help him sleep for you. I use the teething swabs they are the easiest to get into their mouth.  just put your finger in there to kind of hold them from sucking on it. they are fruit flavored . Hope this helps and you can get some sleep soon!
