My son will be 4 in August and has always been a picky eater. However, over the past month or 2, his diet is becoming very limited. He'll tell me what he wants to eat and will only eat about 2 or 3 bits. (i.e. crakers with peanut butter and eats half of 1 crakers.)

B is going through same phase. I have gone through is before, it will pass. I keep a tray of healthy finger foods on table or in fridge and let the kids self-serve through the day. I do make him sit with us for dinner but don't force him to eat. (But I do not offer anything different for dinner, he eats what we do or not at all.) The harder you push, the harder it will be to get him to try new foods. Try only giving water to drink as juice and milk may be filling him up. B can down several glasses of water a day and barely eat anything. But he is still happy and healthy.
