This might sound strange but I miss being pregnant! haha. Is it just me?? I've only had one child and he is nearly 7 months old. But I find myself looking at pregnant women walking down the street and smiling to myself and missing the feel of that giant belly! (and having an excuse to have a giant belly...)

it was quite an experience being pregnant..i miss hearing my baby move in my womb..sometimes it would be a bit too much because she is hyper active..but i certainly don't miss the heartburn!

Good luck with that Tatiana! My tummy was flabby before and is still flabby now hehe. Gotta work on that (who am I kidding!). Oh wow Shauna!! Preggas again already!! I think I would probably not be so excited about that so soon after number 1! Good luck!

and what I miss more than my pregnant belly is my sexy pre-pregnancy tumy :( I feel like I just don't have enough time to work out enough to get it flat again! and I don't even mind the extra weight. I love my more voluptuous body, just want a flatter tighter tummy.

I definitely feel nostalgic when I see other pregnant women, and I initially did miss my pregnant belly...but I do not miss the discomfort and while I have always thought I'd have two children I'm seriously reconsidering because I dread the thought of going through the labor and discomfort of the episiotomy (which for me was worse than labor). so only time will tell if my son will have a sibling

My first is 7 1/2 months old, and I started begging my husband to have a second one last month! I, too, suffer from belly envy. I am enjoying every moment with my son, but I am definately anxious to do it all over again.

I was thinking like you...until I ended up pregnant again. I have a 7 month old and I am also 11 weeks prego...I totally missed it before #2 came along but now that I am going through it again I am not so sure that I really missed it...well, at least the 1st trimester. Not to mention...its a bit hard having to juggle the 7mth old and still deal with the sickness and emotions involved with pregnancy. My 1st was easy...no morning sickness or anything, this one has been totally different.

I miss being pregnant, mostly because my husband really spoiled me rotten then. He does not do that anymore! lol

OMG! I miss being pregnant so much... and I had a horrid time.. high bp, pelvic pain to the point of needing a prescribed controlled substance, I couldn't sleep in my bed... and yet, I miss the movements, the kicks. I miss the little hiccups.... My son is almost 8 months old.

more than I thik I ever could have imagined, I was high risk, and that meant a visit to the OB every tuesday, and ultrasound every friday, and usually some other test (the had me do an ekg, ultrasound of the kidneys etc) every week, and the only doctor in the entire metro area that would take a high risk pregnancy was almost 45 mins away,
but even with having to deal with all of that, in addition to humongously swollen feet and ankles, and back pain, I still find myself missing the feeling of her kicking, and when she would turn both from side to side and the several times she went from having her head under my ribs to having her feet there, hiccups... Dont get me wrong, IM sooo glad shes here, she has brought more joy to DH and I than I could ever begin to tell u, but I do really miss feeling those feelings.

I hear ya, I loved myself when I was pregos. My self esteem was at it's highest. I didn't care that my face was swollen and my feet looked like Gabage Patch Kids feet. I loved my belly, it was HUGE!! At 8 months it was 55 inches around and I felt (In my mind), I was doing one of the most amazing things a woman could do and I never cared about what too wear or how I though others would look at me. I really liked my belly and now, not soo much, lol. But it's all good, I have my baby boy.

I do, but then I remember the morning sickness, the nerve pain, the trouble sleeping, and other things my daughter put me thru when I was pregnant!
It is hard not to stare when you see a big pregnant belly and remember how amazing it was.

haha, same here. being pregnant was great...though I miss it I don't think I'm ready to be pregnant again. Not because of the pregnancy but because of the healing after the birth...

Well I hope all of you get another chance to be preggas again ;) Haha Angie, I want 3 too :) But we want to adopt one AND we live in Hong Kong so the space is sooo limited so I think I may have to deal with just 1.

Sometimes... being on the depo shot I sometimes dont trust it and think I feel fetal movement still!! Crazy I know! But even though my little guy is 7 months old, I still do not get ANY sleep so I definately do not want another baby for a LONG time. On the other hand, I agree that the bump made my clothes look cute, and it was nice to have people do everything for you! For some reason, I think that is only true of your first pregnancy though!! Now we will have another little one to chase around whereas the first time we could nap all the time!

I miss it! When you're pregnant everybody treats you like a rock star but once you have the baby you're put in the backseat and everybody wants to see the baby and play with the baby.

I loved parts of being pregnant but I hated parts too. I don't think I would say I miss it, I have 4 kids so I guess I've been pregnant enough.

Hah yeah baby kicking was sooo nice! Well most of the time ;) Maybe my mind has forgotten all the hard things about being pregnant like uncomfortable to sleep, walk, sit hehe and indigestion, baby kicking in ribs, and last but not least LABOUR. It's funny but I can't remember the hard times! Just the nice ones! :)

yea glad i'm not the only one either :)

Although pregnancy wasn't exactly easy, I did experience some things that I would not want to relive. But I do miss my bump and feeling my little one kick and move around. I mainly miss the bumps though, not the extra swelling. I still love her the same!

I also miss being pregnant and I thought it was just me haha...I know I could not take care of another baby right now, but I miss having the belly and having that connection with my daughter. Even looking at my pictures from when I was pregnant I get kinda sad and think oh I wish I was pregnant. Glad im not alone!

I do!! I loved being pregnant, feeling my daughter growing inside of me. I loved that feeling! Feeling her move and kick, it was such a great feeling. Through all of its ups and downs, it was so great knowing I was growing a baby inside of me.

God yes! I miss it so much!! I only had a tiny bump but I still miss that feeling. I was lucky that while I was pregnant my best friend was as well so we shared the experience and her little girl is just a couple of months older than my son. I do miss being pregnant now! But I've been able to enjoy seeing another close friend of mine grow through her pregnancy. So although I miss it myself I love seeing someone who means so much to me experiencing what I did :)

And Katie.... ME TOOOO! Although I don't think I actually loved every second of it... but I sure miss it!

yes!!!! i would actually like to get pregnant soon (if we are blessed to, would love it)
the worst part is that when i was pregnant with my son, i have to admit, i didnt enjoy it (at the time).. now i wish i could go back & re-live every moment & not focus on the discomfort, pain, etc.. but instead on the miracle that i created.. and what a joy he is. i was always happy TO be pregnant and to be blessed with a child though.
i do hope to get pregnant again soon

haha! I completely agree with you!! I have forgotten all the uncomfortable things about being pregnant and only remember how much nicer my clothes looked on my baby bump rather than my flabby belly!! haha!! Yes I too will wait at least another 2 years before exploring those options again :)
