I know a lot of mom's won't do this because they go for the natural stuff - I go with pain control - and to keep my sanity - I use tylenol and Motrin (Motrin only if baby is over 6 months of age). It helps amazingly well - the teething rings never did anything, my daughter would look at them and look at me like I was nuts - the oragel last a whole 5 minutes, so I think it's a waste of money, a cool wash cloth isn't a bad idea, but makes a mess. I never tried the tabs - so no opinion - I actually had never heard of them until just now

Hyland teething tablets are great and natural too :) Soothie makes a teether that is flexible like the pacifier. My little girl liked to chew on the pacifier but then she tried putting the whole thing in her mouth.. I got scared for choking reasons and put them away but the teether is big and she cant get it all in her mouth. I think Target sells them or you can get them on line at kidsurplus.com too. MAM makes one for molars too it has a squishy side and a harder side. good luck to you

Teething tablets, Cold teething rings and MAM makes a mesh net pacifier and you can put frozen carrots and apples in there my son really loved it. I hardly use Tylenol unless he is just really cranky.

I am a first time mom and my son is just shy of 8 months. hylands teething tablets are amazing he just cut his eye teeth poor little bugger. my son has 4 9oz bottles a day so when he is teething i put 2-3 tablets in each bottle. It definatly helps with the pain and discomfort and its all natural. I'll use tylenol as well if his gums are really bothering him.

we just got our first two teeth and my daughter had a heck of a time as well. motrin works wonders! we also use a frozen washrag or the mesh fruit feeder with some frozen fruit

Well I am on my second son and I use teething tablets they are all natural but have worked wonders. I also found that letting them suck on pop sickles helps too. I know it sucks when they are teething my youngest is almost 8 months. I hope this helps
