I am already planning....however, I can't decide if I want to do a ladybug theme (this is what I did her room in) or do a princess theme? I am definitely excited about it, especially since she has no idea what it's even about anyway! But, we plan on having a jumpy tent (for the older kids) and having a pig roast with all of our friends and the neighborhood! Kind of like an end of the summer party as well......I decorate cakes myself (sometimes) but, I am not sure if I'll do her cake, because it's stressful - so I might have to just order one! We'll see how that detail works out....but, I will start ordering stuff soon so that the cost isn't all at once. Have fun planning all the parties ladies!

My daughter was born on a public holiday here in Australia and this year her birthday is the day after the holiday. So we are having her party on the wednesday because everyone will be off work ! We are going to the zoo on the Thursday which is her actual B'day. She gets her 1 year injections on the friday and we sail off on cruise to the south pacific on the saturday for a whole week ! Yay Happy Birthday Baby ! I have picked the cake already just need to arrange the theme !

we're having a bbq and bouncy castle for my sons first birthday party. we have a lot of children already in our family so the bouncy castle is for them and the bbq more for the adults. it also helps that my uncle owns a bouncy castle company. i'll be planning a few party games nearer the time for the kids too pin the tail on the donkey and pass the parcel most likely and plan to have lots of goodies out to nibble on. i've been planning it for months and wanted to get the castle booked before i go back to work on monday. one less thing to arrange this summer then as me and baby daddy are getting married in july which will also tie into the party as our wedding reception will be later in the year!

This party is mostly for you because your little one will not remember it. I am just going to make sure family and friends are at the house and grill in the backyard. I will also make sure to have a cake so my son can get messy! First year cake pictures are the best!

My husband is graduating college and our family is going to be here and we are planning on moving before she is one. So we are having an early party for her. She won''t get the cake yet but it will be with some of our good friends. Some one is making a cake out of her room them so that will be great. I don't know if we will do much one she turns one for real. Probably have something with just us 3.

I've been thinking about it since pretty much he was born! But I'm not planning anything fancy. I really just want to do a BBQ w/ some friends and family. Spencer won't remember it, so it's really more of us than him.

I am doing a kiwi party, putting a hungi down(cooking food in the ground) and having all the family around to celebrate. I love having family around and we always have little ones in the family so it makes it so much fun!!

S'Niyah is my third child. So, having done this previously, we decided we will have an intimate celebration, as S'Niyah does not know what a birthday is at this point. We will invite her God-Parents, Grandmother, etc. for a cook out. We'll take pictures, sing Happy Birthday, eat cake for dessert and call it a day. As she gets older and becomes more aware of her special day, then we will have elaborate celebrations.

All of my family is nearby, with 2 hrs, and all my in-laws are in Florida, 7-9 hrs away. For our first child we did a big cookout with my family and had everyone over. The next weekend we went to Florida. All the family meet at the zoo were we had cupcakes and looked at the animals. My son even fed a giraffe. It worked well so we will probably repeat it. Our friends did a Gymboree party for their son's first birthday. It was great but my son was afraid of the clown.

Not for sure, but I have begun thinking about it. Was thinking of maybe having a party in the park for family and friends to come.
