my daughter is 4 and 1/2months old. ever since she was born i have kept her on formula (through bottle) and breast feeding both. when she was around 3 months old, she started developing prefrence for breast feeding over bottle. Since my milk is not adequate, she takes too long to be satisfied and i develop sore nipple every now and then, its very diifficult for me to feed her often with patience. her weight gain in the last month was lesser when compared to early months.she has bottle when ever she likes(like 2-3 times a day (3oz)), and reject it most of the time. Ofcourse her tummy is not full so she gets crancky too. Please suggest me how do i help her to get back to bottle feeding. I'm desperate.

I would say stop breast feeding all together if it isn't working and then pump what you can out into a bottle, so that when she eats a bottle she will be surprised that breastmilk is in it and not formula, then if you want to stop pumping I would say slowly stop and make little amounts to mix with a bottle of formula (like half and half) and then just formula all together after about a week or two at the most. That is what I did with my twin boys.... at about three and a half months... it worked and now they love formula and when they see a bottle they grab for it (they are 5 months now)
