suggestions on medicine

Hi everyone, I am looking for any suggestions on medication for my daughter. She is 18 and was diagnosed with aspergers 2 years ago.
Before then we were told she had ADHD. I always thought it was more than that, to begin with the only thing " hyper " about her was / is her mouth. She talks a lot and sometimes it has nothing to do with what is going on. Anyway, we have been through every adhd medication I can think of and the only thing it does is stop her from talking and she pulls at her hair. A friend that has known us since my daughter was real young and watched her, asked me one day if I had ever heard of Aspergers and said my Elizabeth reminded her of someone she had seen and heard talk about having aspergers, thats when I had her evaluated.
We found out that one of the reasons we were having a hard time with the adhd meds. was because we needed to get her anxiety under control first, so we have her on Lexapro and she does seem less anxious and doesnt get depressed as much. But we still have problems with her staying on task and motivation / comprehension. She is taking focalin right now and I am not real pleased with that.
If anyone has any ideas . thank you

At 18 - what kind of therapies do you have her in? If she's got the anxiety under control, she should be able to learn a few coping techniques with therapy that will help her keep focused and pragmatic speech therapy may be able to help with the comprehension issue (that also may be auditory attending). Medicine cannot be used alone with Aspergers - you HAVE to have therapy involved as well.

I have problems with aggresion with my 15 daughter. I hated watching the side affects of all the different meds. So I have her on Resperidal at night helps with her anxiety.
Then I go the natural route I have her on
Sam-E 400 MG in the morning
Omega 3,6,9
DMAE 1 caplet 3x's a day ( Helps with brain function)
L-Theanine 1 caplet 2x's a day ( helps with stress)
I've been using this combination for a couple of years and it does seem to help with her concentration. And no side effects
