Some people dont agree with how people deal with getting their babies to sleep through the night but my way has worked for me and you may like to give it a try!!

I stopped feeding my babies through the night at 6 weeks, as part of getting them to sleep through. With both of my boys I had success within 2 - 3 (sleepless) nights, but I am so glad I had the patience!!

OK so maybe dont feed her through the night, try keeping lights to a minimum so as she learns its night. If she wakes spend the time getting her back to sleep, she may cry but they soon wear down (it feels like forever) . sit with her and pat her or just sit there but dont give eye contact and remember be patient. I usually would let them cry for 15 min (take a watch with you) then pick them up calm them (and yourself down) and then start again. it honestly wont go on forever.some people cant cope with the sleep deprivation, cant cope with the baby crying etc but it is such a rewarding thing when when actually get uninterrupted sleep for that first time. I used to get a little worried about babies crying but then a midwife told me the most obvious thing ever....."a baby screaming is a baby breathing" which is so true!!!

try to do exercises with her legs while she is on her backs ,every day a couple of times...if you are feeding her at nights still, try to give her a water or a tea instead of milk, she will be waking up a few nights but after some time she will be sleeping a whole night, her body just needs some time to get used to it...I did it with my son when he was almost 3 months old and after that time he sleeps all night...

I wouldn't worry my son is 7 months and still not sitting up either or crawling for that matter lol! He will sit up for about a minute or so and thats it! He also wakes a few times during the night and i just go in his room and stick his dummy back in and he's back to sleep!

Sitting - try propping her up? Also my ECN told me to hold him and lower him to the side to the floor - to build up his belly muscles. She'll do it in her own time!

As for sleep, make sure she's well rested thru the day can help - and well fed at ngiht. Good luck

All babies are different and will do things at different times, my eldest girl was sleeping through at 6 weeks and my other 4 month old did it at 8 weeks, I don't really have any advice though as I don't know her sleeping pattern, good luck though, must be frustrating.
