I just tried freeze dried fuji apples from costco that my son loved. Relatively low in sugar too. He also likes chickpeas cut in half and shelled. I heard boiled brocoli florets will melt in the mouth...

My daughter loves those little puff stacks, we buy the genaric brand and she seems to like them better but gerber has them too. They have all different flavors. She also likes green beans (cut up), and bananas. I have also recently tried cooked carrot slices, cooled to room temperature and she seems to like those as well.

Canned green beans, frozen fruit (thawed obviously, but they are a lot fresher than canned fruit), animal crackers, pasta, cheerios, pancakes and toaster waffles (cut up), cheese cubes, bite size ravioli....

carrot sticks are pretty foolproof .. as are things such as apple cut into quarters.

i usually give my son things like rusks and other baby biscuits.

you could also try cubes of cheese.

my son likes buttered toast or cheese on toast cut into soldiers.

and i think i might try giving him some plain pasta .. he's being fussy at the moment when i feed him so im also trying to think up suggestions for finger food.

My daughter loves sweet potato fries. Just slice up a sweet potato, put a tiny bit of olive oil on 'em and bake on a cookie sheet at 400 until they're lightly browned. I also buy large chunks of mozzarella cheese, and cut it into squares or string-cheese size. If your baby is younger, a can of green beans, drained and rinsed, is always good. I just served them at room temperature in small chunks and my daughter loved them! Banana chunks are still my daughter's favorite food.

Here's a good site if you want more ideas or age-appropriate foods:

Pretty much any fruit and veg is fantastic (just watch them with the crunchier ones to make sure they don't choke), toast fingers, my son loved grilled cheesy polenta fingers (and so did I!).

Pretty much any fruit vanishes into my little one in seconds! Stoned cherries, peach, nectarine, melon, oranges with the pips removed, grapes cut in half, apples, tomatoes. she also loves little sandwiches with cheese spread or even ham. A bowl of peas. Hard boiled eggs. Come to thinnk of it, I've not found anything she doesn't like yet!

Lightly toast some bread, spread on any veggie puree you have and cut into bite size pieces.
