baby teething.. = fever

my baby girl is 8months old. and she had 2 breakthroughs on the bottom. she's eating and drinking fine but she's has a fever it goes up and down. is that normal?? and will it stop eventually im heaps worried about her. the doctor just told me to give her either panadol or nurofen for kids.

Totally normal. Some congestion, BAD diaper rash, fever, miserable..... Usually it's just the first couple of teeth and then the molars. Once they get used to the pain, it seems to go easier for them. Just remember, we all lived through it. Try a little tylenol or whatever you have in Aus. for the pain. Good Luck!

It's normal. My friends little gets a temp of 102!! I have heard higher too. It's scary, but normal. Fever meds also help with pain, if any. My guy started teeting just before 4 months and you're not supposed to use Orajel until four months. So I used Infant Tylenol to help with pain and slight fever. It can also cause cold symptoms and give them the runs
