My daughter is almost 7 months old and the only thing I can get her to eat beside formula is rice cereal by Gerber.. I am trying to feed her jar food but she is just not liking the food.. The jar food is beechnut brand.
I guess my question is... Did you feed your baby beechnut or gerber?

My daughter hated baby rice so I went straight to mashed up fruit then vegetables. You could try adding fruit to the rice, apples, pears or peaches are quite nice or mashed up banana.

why not give her fresh fruit and vegetables instead of the vile tasting jar stuff. i wouldnt eat that either. My daughter has only ever had fresh food and i've never had a problem with any of it. Its way cheaper and pretty quick and easy to make as well :)

i feed my child both beechnut and gerber he likes both brands just the same and he will not eat the green beans or peaches of both kinds

I started in the beginning with Gerber...Once we go to the stage with chunks in it, it made her smell sooo bad, We switched to Beechnut and she absolutely loves it!! Depends on the child I guess

Maybe you could try showing him how yummy it is by you having a spoonful? That worked with my first son. As soon as he saw how much I enjoyed his food he ate like a champ. lol....no yuck faces remember...lol...can be hard witht he peas ! Good luck!

I feed my son both. I buy whatever is on sale, or is the cheapest. They are all the same. Anyway, have you tried doing cereal but adding a little bit of veggies or fruits to it? Then gradually adding more until he likes the flavor?

I have beechnut and earths best and natures goodness..i fed my 1st child gerber..havent had any problems. my littlest hates pees though he wont eat that at all.

gerber all the way i hated beechnut my oldest would never eat it she would eat either gerber or heinz only my youngest really likes the parents choice tho from walmart

Have you tried feeding her freshly cooked veggies? My bub wouldnt eat any jarred veggies but then i tried combos of real pumpkin, sweet potato, squash, zucchini, potato and broccoli. It doesnt have to be time consuming, i make up a batch in the microwave about once a month maybe and freeze it into ice cubes and microwave to defrost and reheat. Worth a shot, as by 7 months she should be ready for a bit more food.

I found that mine is fussy this way to just keep trying different flavours her fav is sweet potatos she is not fond on the fruit except pears sometimes it is just the taste not the brand my girl was so ready she would get mad when she saw us eating and somedays she won't take jar food at all depends on her mood at this stange just keep tryin
