I just got a positive pregnancy test yesterday morning, and i started bleeding a little. It is kinda brownish red, and lighter then a period. i hear it is normal but i am a bit worried. I never went thru this with my previous pregnancy. Has anyone gone through this as well?

Its no biggie, I have with all of my pregnancies for at least the first trimester. You may want to go in if you experience cramping or if it continues. Nothing was wrong for me, but I know that that isn't always the case. As they say, every pregnancy is different, and every woman's body is also different. So without getting it checked out in each case, unless you know your body that well, there is no way of knowing. Good luck, and Congrats!

Any kind of bleeding check with doctor. Like the other said it's fairly common. There is also something call implantion bleeding. Some spotting is fairly normal all the more after sex. When it is bright red then you need to be conserned. Always call doc if worried though.

Yes I had bleeding shortly after I found out I was pregnant. I called my doctor, and they did an ultrasound to ensure that nothing was wrong with the baby and all was fine. I've heard that 20% of women experience some kind of bleeding during their first trimester, so it is somewhat common. If you are experiencing cramping or the bleeding continues, I would call the doctor.
