REST, REST REST!!! Have your husband/boyfriend help out as much as possible and you just sit there and let them bring everything to you!!! I had a cold with i had s c section with my son, it was HORRIBLE they made me hold a pillow against my stomach and cough so it wouldnt stay in my lungs and develop anmonia, it was SO painful to cough! I pretty much laid around and my husband was GREAT help and my mother-in-law cooked and helped out, and my mother also helped out a lot with taking care of my daughter while i had my son! If someone offers to help you, take it! You'll need all the help you can get! Good luck, hope you recover well!

One of my friends had a c-section that didn't heal correctly. Now we go to strollersize with core exercises and won't do any of the ab exercises until her doc gives her the go-ahead. She can do most of the leg-lift exercises -she thinks. :) We walk and stretch and do core exercises for about an hour. Lots of fun! :)

I agree with the no sneezing but would add no coughing as well. Take the meds they offer too, there's no point in being in so much pain that you can't function. I did not take them at first and was not able to stand.

i had three c-sections and i found that the best way is to rest as much as possible. take all the help you get offered even when you dont want to. and drink a lot of water. make sure to take ibuprophin every 4 hours to help with the swelling and try your hardest not to sneeze. i know it is hard but it will get better!
