How young is too young for trick or treating?

just wondering who thought what age is a too young age to trick or treat. I took my son last year and he was only 6 months old, it was just fun, for me and especially for my grandpa who has taken me every year when i was little, he was so excited to have a new baby that he could go with. My son was a tiger last year and my grandpa took him to every door saying trick or treat, this is my great grand tiger, hes too little to know how to say that yet lol. Of course i didnt let him eat the candy, i ate some adn shared it with the kids i babysit, but i didnt think he was too young, its more of a fun experience for us, a memory to make.

My daughter will be just about 5 months and I'm takimng her. I'm just going to go to some of our family members houses and I think since she is too young for candy and I don't need any candy we'll bring some and give it out rather than take it or I think I might make cookies rather than bring candy.. not sure yet. I don't think age should matter for halloween.

My daughter will be nearly 7months and we'll just be taking her to her grandparents house to trick or treat, i think its too cold to be walking the street! I will keep her dresed up though until she goes to bed and she can hand out the treats to the children that trick or treat at our house!

My husband and I are taking our son who will be exactly 5 months on Halloween. We're not going out for long and it'll be early evening, but we have a costume for him and we'll be taking him to friends houses who want to see him all dressed up. It'll be more fun for us obviously but I'm looking forward to it (plus Hubby and I get to eat the candy!).

my son is almost 9months anbd i have no idea what to this halloween.

i've got him a little devil outfit .. its so cute.

my mum told me to take him trick or treating to a few houses on our street .. but i'm scared that some people might just ignore us and think we're annoying kids and not open the door ..

Hmmm...I'm not sure there really is an age that's too young! My son was less then a month old for his first Halloween. I didn't take him out Trick or Treating because it was so cold, but I dressed him up and he handed candy out to me. We had some of the neighbors tell us to go to their house so "he" could get candy since he was all dressed up. Now this year will be my daughter's first Halloween and she will be 2 months old but we are getting her a costume and she'll be dressing up to go around with her big brother and friends Trick or Treating. The fun part is that my boyfriend is dressing up with my son and I'm dressing up with my daughter :D It's a family affair this year! That's the fun part, the family fun, the memories and the pictures saved for all prosperity! that's the most important...and that you enjoy it while you can because all too soon they will be convinced they are too old to go trick or treating!

It's never too young !! My lil boy is 6 months old now and his cousin is having a huge HALLOWEEN party as its his birthday on that day. Before the party we are all going to go Trick or Treating and Cody ( my boy ) has this cute lil Bat costume that we can't wait to put on. It's all about fun and enjoying yourself so you can NEVER be either too YOUNG nor too OLD to go T & T i say x x
