I have a 3 month old infant and was wondering at what age do you start introducing baby cereal and baby food? Ive noticed that he is wanting to be fed more frequently now.

We started out daughter on cereal at 8 weeks old. She is on oatmeal because rice cereal makes her constipation worse. We will be starting veggies next week when she is 3 months old. Is your son breastfed or formula fed? Have you tried increasing the amount of he eats at each meal? My daughter is formula fed and eats about 28 oz in a 24 hour period split between 4 bottles (she sleeps 10-12 hours at night). She is eating 1-1.5 tbsp of cereal at breakfast and dinner.

Our dr. just told us we can start giving her one grain cereal or pablum before bed so she will sleep through the night. like Rice cereal, she doesnt quite understand the concept of the being spoon fed yet but she tries and you can also just mix it with formula or breastmilk to make each feeding a little more substancial

hope that helps
