i have a 2 month old girl who will only power nap during the day, unless we are out in the car, or she is being held. Im lucky if she will sleep 30 mins. Any suggestions on how to get her to sleep a little longer??

My baby boy would do that and now he's almost 3 months and it's getting better. It seemed to have a lot to do with winds waking him up. Hang in there! In the mean time I've found that if he wakes up after 10 or 20 min I should try get him back to sleep instead of treating it like a real wake up after a nap, and that for his naps i general I should try getting him to sleep within an hour to an hour and a half of his last nap.

I had the same problem but I put a noisy fan out side his room and it lulls him to sleep and it drowns out other sounds of the house that might wake him up... Also you can read Happiest baby on the block.. it deals with lots of different sleep issues. hope that helps

Read the book "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child" I have 4 children, and this is my all time favorite book, written by physician, and sleep expert, it will answer all of your sleep questions.
