my lil girl gets startled very easily. when i was prego her dad use to scare me all the time bcuz he thought it was funny. I told him to stop doing that bcuz it could affect the baby. i dunno if i jinxed it or not but its worse when she tries to sleep. she'll be sleep for a while n then he body will keep continuously jumpin no matter how many times i come to the rescue. eventually she does sleep but swaddlin doesnt work bcuz shes very advanced since birth. she came out controllin her head already and shes very she doesnt like being wrapped up unless shes being held with the exception of her putting her in her crib before shes in a deep sleep is out of the question...either her bodywill start jumpin or her pacifer fall out n she i get her to sleep in her bouncer or swing(if she doesnt freak out in the swing - i think she has bad dreams like shes fallin n wakes up cryin) or in my bed. n i dont want her to get use to my bed cuz that she not gonna want to sleep in her crib...n e ways ADVICE?

I'd perservere with the swaddling - even if you have to leave her arms out. Babies jerk reflex is much greater when tired so be sure to make sure she;s sleeping enough

I don't think that it's any more then normal. Your baby is probably still feeling insecure about not being enclosed in a tight space (your uterus) anymore, which is probably why she twitches. That's why they recommend swaddling, so they still feel tight and enclosed. My son also didn't like swaddling, and he would do the same thing. We just had to keep going with rocking him to sleep until he was about 3-4 months, then we started getting him to fall asleep on his own. He slept in my bed until he was about 10 months old, then he was moved into his cot and he made the transition really well. I jump when I'm in a light sleep as well every now and then. I wouldn't worry about it. You just need to find a way of getting her to sleep that works for you. I didn't mind rocking my son, because it was a good bonding time and I love the cuddles. Sorry, not much help:) Good luck though.
