my son goes to sleep fine for his sitter (my aunt) but fights it most of the time for me?

he dosent fight everytime for me but mostly. she said he never does for her. why is he do that?

ahhhh ladies listen? wait? whats that? QUITE! lol easy cheesy! bath bottle book bed :) and a little mickey mouse to help! thanks for advice, hes my first and i do tend to give in to him alot i need to "buckle down" let him know whos boss lol

It sounds like auntie has some sort of routine for getting him to bed that she doesn't stray from. He knows that activities x,y, and z lead to bed PERIOD. I would ask her what she does and continue it at home. Maybe she reads a story or maybe a bottle something like that. whatever she does at her house might be worth a try at yours, but most importantly I think she has just never given in to him, so he just knows bedtime that's it.

it sounds awful but let him cry it out!! i had to do it with my son because I gave in too, and now he seems to go right to sleep. GOOD LUCK. having your child sleep is such a pain sometimes, and we all know how much we could all use our sleep...

He probably knows he can get away with it....LOL. If you gave in a few times then he knows he fights enough he may get his way. A mid-wife once told me that if you do something 3 times babies will remember !!
