My little girl (5mo) doesn't like naps. She is awake most of the day, at times rubbing her eyes. She takes about a 5-10 min nap after feeding, but that's it. She sleeps well at night, but doesn't seem to want to miss anything that happens during the day. Any suggestions/ideas, we really think it would help if she would take a nap, but we don't know where to start.

we did the same thing with naps as we did for bed time. we decided that his naptime would be from 12-2 (which is what his babysitter does) and everyday we lay him down at noon (or a little before if he is really sleepy) after lunch with a bottle. at first he stayed awake and i had to go in and give him his pacifier several times but he eventually got it and now he determines his own naptime and i dont have to watch the clock. good luck!
