new formula

My baby girl turned 6 months a couple of weeks ago so I had to switch her to another formula. I used to give her Similac LF (lactose free), but now the doctor recommended I switch her to another brand because she thought that Similac number 2 is a bit heavy for her. Ever since I started feeding her the new formula, she's been pooping 4-5 times a day (she used to go once a day before) and sometimes its too loose. Does that mean I should change her formula again? I started feeding her at 4 months, and she's not eating anything she didn't used to before, so I'm guessing its the formula that's causing all this bowel movement. Any suggestions?

the number 2's are meant for babies 9-24 months. I have my little one on it and hes turning one in a couple of weeks. His bowels have changed a little bit too. before i was only getting one every other day at most. now i get one everyday, sometimes 2 or 3.

Hmmm how long has she been on the formula? I would check in with the doctor just to get his advice?! It may be her little body getting used to it.. or perhaps it's not for her..
