So here's the deal. I had Blaine when I was 17, a senior in high school. When I went back to school after my maternity leave, he was just fine at the babysitters. After I graduated, we decided that I would'nt go to work, I was to stay at home with my son until school started back up. My son is now 6 months old and I just started college this week. Now Blaine wont take a bottle at all at the babysitters, he just screams and cries until I pick him up. He refuses to eat or play or do anything but scream. He has been strictly breastfed since he was born but had no problem taking a bottle before my summer break. Im really worried about him and its really stressing me out. Any advice? Please and thank you!

it will be hard at the beginning. He will eventually get used to his new routine and enjoy his activities while you are not around. About the bottle feed. You need to try that one in a different way. The only time my son agreed to take the bottle was wile being fed by somebody else (when he was on me he could smell me and point blank refused) and I was out of the room and even the house. After a few tries he got used to it and would even take it from me when it was needed. Osnat

perseverance... I used to work in child care and we'd have this same problem with most of the new babies, because it's a new routine as well as a new environment as well as you not being there it's a big adjustment for him....don't stress about it too much, he'll settle down.... just give him time
