Our son also vomited four times the day after his 6 week vaccinations. It was one of the side effects. He also woke more often in the night and got a bit of a fever. For the fever, I wiped his skin with luke warm flannels - not cold as it will cause the body to heat up more - and kept him in a breeze by the window - it was summer. I also gently patted a little anti-flammatory cream on the shot spots. I was also hesitant to medicate him, wanting to just see if he could handle it without it, but for the next round I gave Pamol straight after and as often as the instructions advised for two days after. By then he had recovered.

My doctor always told me to give my little one a dose of tempra at least 15 minutes before the appointment. It gives it a chance to work. My daughter is usually pretty good after, except the cries!!

Give the dose of tylenol 2 hours befor the appointment and 2 hours after it helps and they will be ok and dont feel bad because if its going to make the little one feel better we should be happy to be able to help. And just keep a close eye on him if it gets bad and you are worried take him in to a walk in whats the worst that could happen they say its normal and that he will be ok.

Give tylenol for pain or fever, cuddle and love him as he may be cranky. Watch for any side affects. I'm sure the nurse gave you information pamphlets outlining what to look for. My son was absolutely fine. :)
