i regret all the money we wasted on huggies..they are useless..we have a cheap brand here in nz that are like $4.99 they are the best nappies weve ever used and you can get a huge 65 pack for like $20

Target brand Up and Up. Switched when my son was six months (from Huggies/Pampers, whichever I had a coupon for). I like them so much more and will never go back! I save money everytime I buy them! I also use them overnight, he doesn't leak, he leaked overnight with huggies overrnight diapers.

I use huggies for my 2 month old because pampers has tape that gets stuck to her when I change her, but huggies has like Velcro that only sticks to the diaper. Huggies seen to fit better also.

I stick with Huggies snug n dry. The regular red and white box. I've tried luvs and I just hate them. Pampers are OK but the kind I bought has a scent to them and it irritates my daughter eczema.

I have also tried every brand of nappy out, i dont pampers as i think they always feel like they are wet and need changing alot more often, i dont like huggies as they seem very stiff, as if my son cant move and get comfortable in them properly. I experiments with the cheapr brands, such as asda and tesco, an to be honest I think they are the best I have came across so far. This is jus my opinion in and think these r betta 4 him, but others may think different,

Both my boys leaked with Pampers, so I use Huggies for both. I also found that when I tried Pampers again later on with my oldest he didn't leak anymore, but at night he would wake up more. I think they just didn't make him feel as dry as the Huggies so it'd wake him up.

I asked my pediatrician this same question. Her response was pampers are better for girls and huggies for boys. I've used pampers since my baby boy was born and he is now almost a month old and they worked fine. I did just by a box of huggies to try them out because they were on sale though!

Pampers are soft (as comfortable as a diaper can be) and they have great leak protection for us!

they are more expensive than the parents choice, but i use pampers. the parents choice changed the diapers and now, in my opinion, they arent worth a thing. but before they changed them thats what i used. the pampers seem to be more absorbent though. which is good cuz my daughter dont wake up through the night so she doesnt get her diaper changed at night and it very rarely leaks through

I love the pampers baby dry or the parents choice brand from walmart. Both are amazing.

luvs diapers. i love them alot. they hold so much pee, and she doesn't leak and my baby pees alot. so i don't wanna wake her from her sleep and in the morning, its still dry on the clothes. i liked pampers baby dry, but they don't have her size up here, and luvs are cheaper. swaddlers leaked for my daughter, but idk how the new dry max is. she always pooped outside of huggies and peed from them, her frame is too small for those diapers.

I prefer Pampers Swaddlers over Huggies as I found Huggies leaked alot. Then again, I buy whatever that is on sale and use coupons that I get in the mail. I have tried generic brands as well. It really depends on your child and his/her size.

i use both huggies and pampers. i like the pampers for overnight. (my daugher is in size 3 now) i couldnt use luvs they leaked BIG TIME. and the walmart brand just didnt seem to fit right on her. i could use them, but i did have some leaks and i really dont like leaks.

each baby is different. you'll have to try out a few kinds. if you go online and register with huggies and pampers sometimes they will send you sample diapers. you can try them out then.

my aunt has a little baby as well and she said the target brand works great! havent tried them yet. i might give it a shot though.

i personally found that the pampers swaddlers were AMAZING when my little man was first born. but yes like someone else said once you got to the size one and higher they leaked, a lot. everytime he pooped i had a mess to clean up. so i gave up with those and then switched to huggies. and i have not had a problem with those. i don't find them to be stiff like some others have said. i do however HATE parents choice diapers from walmart, they were rediculously hard and did not form to my baby at all so i ended up throwing the rest of the package away. i found that luvs leaked on my little guy. ive also tried the target up and up brand and although they are really cute, they did seem to leak a bit. i just tried shopko brand diapers and they actually do seem to be okay. havent had any problems so far.

Question: has ANYONE ever tried Kirkland Signature brand from Costco? As far as I can tell after reading the entire post is that I'm the only one who uses them? The only reason I find it strange is because almost everyone I know where I'm from uses them or has at least tried them......just curious!

Hugggies for me. Pampers were good from Preemie to size one, then switched to Huggies. Allergic to Luvs, the fragrance they put into them

pampers baby dry...they are good for up to 12 hours. our little girl sleeps through the night. she just turned 9 months on saturday and we have YET to have any leaking issues. and she has had a reaction to every other diaper we have tried, except these ones. LOVE THEM!!

[deleted account]

Pampers have a funny smell to me and Huggies fit way too big and loose.....Roxanne used to have leaks daily.....GROSS! After many messy, smelly, up the back clean-ups I finally decided to try the KIRKLAND SIGNATURE brand from Costco and we LOVE LOVE LOVE them! They're much more durable and far less expensive than the other major brands!

My daughter also hasn't had a diaper rash since we switched either......

When my daughter was born the hospital started us on Pampers Swaddlers. I loved them, no leaks, soft and comfy, and I had a lot of different brands given to us at the baby shower, so as she went from Pampers to Luvs, I noticed leaks big time lol, I'd use them in a pinch, but you have to change them quite quite often..The ones I love are Huggies Snugglers, we are currently using those, I too have found that the Huggies brand diapers are super stiff, but the Snugglers aren't! And they also have the leak pocket up the back, and the side leak protectors too, just always make sure they're up around baby's cheeks, and we're virtually leakproof!

pampers were perfect for when she was newborn, huggies leaked, but now at 5 months old, pampers leak constantly and huggies are perfect! we bought pampers last time, and i am regretting it, every poop she has is an explosion and a load of laundry to do right away. i find that the pampers dont stretch at the back where huggies do. also i thing huggies fits a bit bigger than pampers. we have not tried anything else, i would like to try gdiapers though. or some sort of cloth diaper. they come in cute colours :) they can be pretty stylish :P

It's interesting how many people have different experiences with the same kind of diaper! I have tried Pampers, Huggies, and Luvs. I don't really have an opinion of Luvs, because I only tried them a few times. I love how soft Pampers are, but they seemed to leak on my little one a lot. Like someone else said, Huggies seem more stiff, but they don't leak as much. So, now we are going with Huggies. This new box of Huggies I just bought seem softer than previous ones I've used.

I've used almost every brand for my daughter--now I use the target brand-up&up? and they work great! and only like $13 for a box of 80! I'm glad I experimented with the cheaper brand--saves me $$ and works the same if not better than huggies or pampers!

Every kind of nappy either leaks or gives terrible rashes on my little girl except for huggies. They last over night to and we never worry abour leaks in bed.

Huggies Pure and Natural. Super soft and its the only diapers that didn't cause a rash with our little sensitive Miss Rowan. In the NICU they provided pampers which irritated her...wouldn't consider using luvs or store brands because my son reacted terribly with them!

Pampers! I hate HUGGIES because they are SO STIFF and give my daughter red marks, no matter how loose I put them. LOVE LOVE LOVE me some Pampers, have yet to try the new Dry Max ones tho. Can't stand Luvs, always leaked on my LO.

I tink every child has a different figure and you can't really go off others. I used huggies and costco brand for my son. I use pampers for my daughter. They both have completly different shapes. Good luck

i have tried every brand of diapers available (i'm not exaggerating lol) and the only brand that did not leak on my little guy was pampers (baby dry and cruisers - the swaddlers leaked after he was a couple weeks old). they are a bit pricey but i go on to the pampers web site and you can often get coupons for them and then when they go on sale somewhere i use the coupon with the sale.

I personally HATE huggies, they always leaked! I use pampers swaddlers (well cruisers now that my daughter is in size 3) and I have never had a problem with them! If you find they are too expensive, Luvs is actually made by pampers, the material on the outside feels different but they are the exact same thing! I switch off if I'm tight on money at one point... :]
