My son started teething or at least showing the symptoms around 4 months, he's 5 1/2 months now and yesterday his two bottom teeth popped through, you can't see them very well but you can definitely feel them.

My lilltle girl is 9 months old, and still no teeth!!! I'm told anywhere between 6months to a year for first teeth to appear, and some don't appear til after that! Every baby is different

My daughter now seven months, started teething at 3 months... those sneaky little teeth popped in and out for 3 months before the bottom two came in together (at 6months) and now she has her third coming in, on the top. This time around she is not so cranky, and it's coming in faster (THANK GOD). Just look for drool and general crustiness :) If they are crusty, and you give them a cold teething ring and they quiet, it's teeth. We used anbesol, tempra when needed, and lots of teething rings. Also, found big chunks of cold carrot or other hard vegetables to work great for her to chew on.. as long as they can't break pieces off and choke.

There is no deffinate answer to when they start teething. My son started at about 2 months old but didn't get his first tooth til after six months. Just watch for lots of drowling that is generaly the first sign.

Every baby is different, they say the average age for a child's first tooth is between 4-6 months. My son got his first tooth right before he was 4 months old. He is 6 months old now (almost 7 months) and he has 6 teeth already.
