I think it's because when twin 1 is on the potty twin 2 is there and pulls down his panties too and pees on the floor! LOL

We didn't start potty training our twin boys (now 8) until they were 3 1/2 when Oliver would say to us "mummy I'm going to do a poo-poo". He potty trained completely within about 2 months but Klairke refused to pee on the potty even if he would then go and pee in his panties (or bed, kitchen...) he wasn't potty trained until he was almost 6 and still occasionally wets his bed.

EDIT: Klairke has various developmental & learning disabilities so this is why he was not potty trained until he was 5-6.

Its not hard potty training twins. Its just hard potty training in general. Relax breath and let your twins do it in their own time. You have a benefit over most moms. When one starts to go potty most likely the other one will follow and be taught by the first. They aren't going to go to school in diapers. So don't fight with them. Don't start WW3 over the potty. There is two of them and one of you... and you are definitely out numbered. Just keep offering the potty and let them in the washroom when you are in there. You can try treats for going and make sure you do NOT give any treats to the twin who didn't go. Potty training will ONLY happen in their time and not yours. Just encourage them and remember its not worth fighting about. You already got your day full enough!
