What kind of table food are you feeding your 9mo old?

We had our 9mo check up last Friday and my pediatrician encouraged us to start more table food. We have been doing small pieces of bread and mac n cheese since my 3yr old daughter loves mac n cheese. We haven't tried much else. I was curious what everyone else is trying. I will probably try more pasta and some potatoes. I want to introduce some meats too. My little guy is still working on getting the food in his mouth, but practice makes perfect.

Well, I have started boiling carrots and cutting them into little cubes for my little girl and she loves them! I don't know if you have a baby bullet, but I also mix cooked hamburger with cream corn and she loves that too. She also eats cut up cubes of banana and strawberries. As long as it's soft you should be good to go!

My son only has his 2 bottom teeth (and working on his top two front teeth) so I am very cognizant of what I give him. Some of the things he has had (not on a daily basis) are scrambled eggs, shredded cooked chicken, fruit and veg's cut up small, mushed beans, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese (his fave also), yogurt. I am going to talk more in depth with the pedi at his next appt to see what she suggests. I struggle a lot because he wants pretty much nothing to do with the jarred baby food any longer (which he used to love) and is wanting more and more of our "table food".
