What's the best part of raising a family in Canada?

The best part is being exposed to diversity. We live in a country that takes pride in its diversity, which inevitably helps children grow up with an open mind in regards to different ethnicities, cultures, etc.

What's the biggest misconception people have about raising a family in Canada?

After living abroad for almost 7 years, I came to the conclusion that people think that it is cold all year round and a lot of live in igloos! Many people just don't understand just how vast the Canadian territory is and the fact that we do have a summer and that it does get hot here!

What do your kids love most about living in Canada?

My children are still quite small (2 1/2 and 10 months). What I love most about living in Canada is that my kids can grow up enjoying four distinct seasons (actually three as we spend our summers in Italy!), they have options when it comes to schooling (i.e., all english/french/immersion) and Canada offers them so many possibilities for them in the future, compared to other countries such as Italy.
