As a stay at home wife and mother I love to share DIY projects, thrifting hauls, furniture transformations, home decor inspiration, as well as some of my favorite recipes--all the while teaching how to do it frugally!

Of all the DIY projects you've done, which was your favorite?

Out of all the DIY projects I've done my favorite is easily the entry table I made for our foyer. It is my favorite because before I made it I'd never made any furniture, not to mention it cost me less than thirty bucks to make. I was so pleased and surprised with how it turned out. It definitely inspired me to make more furniture.

What's your advice for moms who want to decorate their home on a budget?

Shop secondhand! This is the best advice I can give to moms who want to decorate their home on a budget. Not only are you able to get great prices, but you can find amazing pieces for a steal and upcycle or refinish them, giving them a whole new life. The majority of the decor in our home has come from yard sales, thrift shops, and secondhand stores. Just because something is secondhand doesn't mean it is junk. Haven't you ever heard the saying "One man's trash is another man's treasure!"

Where do you find inspiration for keeping your home stylish?

I love looking at other home design blogs for inspiration for decorating my home. Pinterest is also a big inspiration spot for me. Occasionally I'll just read home design magazines, but as a mom, I find it much easier to surf the web for ideas. Not to mention there is an endless amount of resources online.
