What's a fun way to repurpose household items into toys or crafts?
I look at everything through the eye of repurposing! I'm also an anti-hoarder who loves to throw things out, which can be a conundrum. I always save really pretty wrapping paper, bows etc. and even pictures from cards, for future crafts.
Do you know any great children's books that teach kids about being eco-friendly?
Trite as it may sound, I love The Giving Tree for teaching children about what Mother Earth gives up for us!
What organic or healthy snacks do your kids love? Please share a link to a recipe if you have one.
I love making homemade yogurt (http://change-diapers.com/2010/04/making-yogurt-without-a-yogurt-maker-a-k-a-crock-pot-yogurt/) and I generally make everything from scratch I can (pancakes, muffins, cakes, bread) substituting whole wheat flour for up to half of the all purpose flour.
