Denise is a winner of Top 25 Couponing Moms - 2013

What advice would you give to a mom who wants to start couponing?

First subscribe to the Sunday Newspaper, file your newspaper inserts in manilla folders, choose one or 2 stores to shop at and concentrate on savings, and follow our weekly store matchups and daily new printable coupons to save money with little time invested in clipping coupons. does most of the work for you! Subscribe to our daily email for free coupons and deals here..

How much do you save yearly using coupons?

My grocery bill for family of 6 used to be $250-$300 week at the all time high. We eat heathier now and spend less $125-$150 week. These numbers include all health & beauty and household cleaning items. My goal is always to save 50% while not comprising the brands and foods we like to eat and at the same time eating healthier foods along with fresh vegetables and fruits.

What is the best resource you've found for finding coupons?

I do not think I can choose the best resource for coupons. I believe the best way to save is sale items and coupons combined. Therefore I feel blogs are the best resource because the work is already done for shoppers. My best resource for my area is our weekly matchups along with coupons as was born because most blogs did not cover my area grocery stores Tops and Wegmans. It was difficult for me to save enough money by simply using coupons. You need to inventory what your family uses, meal plan when you can, and match sales with coupons to get the most value for your dollar.
