What's the funniest thing your child has ever done or said?

I have three kids, all of whom are still pretty young, so there's a lot of unintentional humor; although my five year old son, is a bit of a comedian. Whether it's on purpose or not, my kids tend to keep me laughing on a daily basis like the time my daughter laid on my back while I was on the couch and told me my "butt was like a Pillow Pet;" or the time she called my breasts "hangers." When my kids aren't slinging "compliments," I'm laughing at the suggestions they have for helping me out like the time my seven year old suggested that I buy place settings made of waffle cones (after eating a waffle bowl at an ice cream party), so that I wouldn't have to do as many dishes. Or then there was the time that the five year old tried to cover up some gum in the dog's fur (no one knows how that got there), by putting a shirt on him.

Maybe not everyone would laugh in these situations, but I think these kids are hilarious.

What always makes you laugh?

I've never had a hard time laughing at myself, which I find to be very healthy, and luckily I'm not one to disappoint either. Whether it's tripping over my own feet, having a conversation with a stranger with a giant piece of food in my teeth, or having a fit and practically stripping in a parking lot after finding a piece of a dead cricket inside the sweater I was wearing (that really happened unfortunately), I seem to always do something that makes me cringe, blush and eventually laugh out loud.

And should I be having an off day, I turn to my favorite bloggers like People I Want to Punch in the Throat, Bad Parenting Moments, Motherhood WTF, Let Me Start by Saying, Suburban Snapshots, Ninja Mom, Naps Happen, Parenting.Illustrated with Crappy Pictures, and about a dozen other funny Moms that are always sure to leave me laughing until there's tears running down my legs.

What's the funniest gift you've ever received?

An extra large pair of men's thong underwear.

What's one of the worst messes your child has made? Please share a link to a photo if you have one.

Susan McLean

My kids said it was "Unicorn Poop." I saw a pile of glitter and glue, and thirteen months later I STILL have glitter in my vacuum canister (and in my carpet). I assume that this mess will be here long after we're gone.
