My kids LOVE goodie bags. But what about moms? I've recently been thinking it would be great to include the gift that keeps on giving in their goodie bags....a small card for MOM that says this, "Dear sweet MOM, thank you so much for bringing (name)_____________ to ______________'s birthday party today. We're so glad you all could join us. To thank you I'd like for you to have these family conversation starters that you can use all year long together with your kids. We really enjoy them. What are signs that a child isn't being challenged enough in school?

I know my kids aren't being challenged in school when they act bored outside of "school time". If my children are engaged, challenged and enjoying what they're learning in school, then their imaginations and excitement are sparked and boredom is a non-issue. Since we homeschool, I am their mom and their teacher, so it's my job to make sure my students are challenged. My goal is not to just fill them with knowledge, but to create in them, a lifelong love of learning through creative and engaging activities at home. Here are our top 10 fun and educational learning activities. They really do make all the difference for our kids!!

Capture their imaginations by going on a Big Foot Treasure Hunt. Take a notebook and pen and you're set. Ask questions along the way. To get them started, ask...."Do you think Big Foot is real? Let's look for clues and see what we find!" Your kids will LOVE the excitement of it all. Spending time WITH our kids outside, engaging them and jumping into THEIR worlds means the WORLD to them. And that is priceless.
