Local flavor, seasonal recipes and inspiration from our garden, Central Texas farms and farmers' markets. My recipes are gluten, dairy, soy and corn free and celebrate ingredients that are sourced from local farms and vendors.

What's your go-to product or brand that gets around your child's food allergy?

As far as brands go, we use Earth Balance Soy-Free Spread or Coconut Spread, Amande Almond Milk Yogurt, Daiya Vegan Cheese, Enjoy Life chocolate chips, Justin's Maple Almond Butter, Bob's Red Mill GF Oats, Mimicreme cashew cream, Beanitos for tortilla chips and we make our own almond milk with blanched almonds. We also make sour cream and "queso" using cashews. We try to stick to whole foods, but those are the few brands that are a standard in our pantry and fridge.
