Make the subject interesting, so the child will become engaged and want to learn more. For instance, often the subject of history is boring to children. Enter, the movie "Night at the Museum", and suddenly the subject comes alive. Do this for your child. It means spending your time and trying your patience. But, the reward will be amazing.
