Two Point Five Kids

I am a "mostly" stay at home unpaid country-copper wife of a domestically challenged hubby (the point five part) and mum of 2 energetic boys, G-Man born 2008 and Master J born 2010. Enjoy my take on life.

What's the best part of raising a family in Australia?

The safety, the climate, the beaches and the people.

In what ways is Australia unique from other places you've lived or traveled?

I have been very lucky and travelled around the USA for six weeks and stayed in NYC for three weeks. I have visited New Zealand, Fiji and Bali as well.
I have lived in Ayers Rock which is in the centre of our beautiful country and I have travelled extensively around Australia, particularly in Western Australia due to my husbands job.
Australia as a land is a juxtaposition. She can be breathtakingly stunning and also cruelly harsh. Her land is both generous and unforgiving on the same token. Her beaches are beautiful and her deserts are lean.
Her people are both relaxed and proud.
Whilst I love the diversity of each American State, I adore the similarities that stretch across Australia's plains.

What do your kids love most about living in Australia?

The climate.
The safety.
The identity.
