Between getting kids dressed, fed and out the door on time mornings can be hectic! What tips do you have for making morning routines easier?

Oh, this is a tough quest that we all battle every single day! For us, we have a schedule that we *attempt* to stick to as closely as possible. We find that if there is time for personal devotional, breakfast, play, showers and the like with enough padding to allow for a bit of drama our mornings are much more manageable than without. You can read all about our thoughts on a schedule here (http://www.kellywestover.com/beware-the-evil-behind-the-smiling-eyes/) and see how our schedule plays out here (http://www.kellywestover.com/scheduling-with-a-toddler-twins/).

People often say twins and other multiples have an extra special bond. Has there ever been a time when you noticed an especially unique connection?

Every. Single. Day.
There will be moments when they're sitting side by side in their high chairs and they'll hold hands and smile, or simply look at each other and bust up laughing. They love to be where the other one is at all times, and if Mama is holding one, Mama should be holding both. Duh!
I've taken just one to the store with me for a little special Mama time and I can tell that they are enjoying the one-on-one time, but are wishing their other 'half' were there to share it with them. I try to make extra time to just sit and play or hold both of them together for this reason. So they know that they are loved individually but that they came as a pair, and it's okay to want to be that pair.

What are your tips for celebrating joint birthday parties?

We'll be experiencing this for the first time in June! I imagine it will require lots of balloons, family, towels and presents.
The Hubs and I have wondered about this many times. When they get older how do we handle the parties? Will they always want to celebrate them together because of their special bond? We know that at some point they're going to want very different things, since they're a boy/girl pair. But, how we accomplish those desires is part of the super crazy & always exciting ride that we find ourselves on.
